The folk dance is a lively display of community spirit, accompanied by traditional tribal music and rhythmic drumming. Dancers move in unison, often forming circular or semi-circular formations, as they celebrate their ancestral traditions. Their performances reflect the Rathwa tribe’s deep connection to nature, spirituality, and folklore.

One of the key highlights of the Rathwa folk dance is the use of traditional instruments like the Dhol, Shehnai, and Turi, which create a pulsating rhythm that drives the performance. The dancers wear colorful attire adorned with beads, feathers, and traditional jewelry, further enhancing the visual spectacle of the dance.
